Making (as director, choreographer & producer)

In addition to working as a performer and making my own work, I am proud to have had a long history with San Francisco’s Theatre of Yugen (1993 to 2014) and am a current and founding Member of the international Theatre Nohgaku. Both create new work rooted in the nohgaku traditions of Japan and it has been my privilege and honor to explore the philosophies underpinning each. Projects included in this section are a smattering of selected works - chosen because of what they taught me. They each represent a significant milepost on the road.
